Coordinate Interleaved OFDM With Power Distribution Index Modulation

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing with index modulation (OFDM-IM), which transmits information bits via $M$ -ary constellation symbols and indices of the active subcarriers, is a promising OFDM-based multicarrier transmission scheme. Recently, several new schemes have been proposed by utilizing flexibility OFDM-IM to meet diverse needs 5G networks. Coordinate interleaved (CI-OFDM-IM) that conveys real imaginary part data over different subcarriers OFDM power distribution IM (OFDM-PIM) high low are two based additional diversity gain improved bit error rate (BER) performance. In this letter, we propose novel scheme named as coordinate (CI-OFDM-PIM), applies interleaving in achieve higher gain. The average probability (ABEP) for CI-OFDM-PIM derived superior performance benchmarks shown computer simulations.
